In-Con supplies free WiFi at San Luis Obispo Regional airport!
In May, Innovative Concepts turned up free wireless Internet access in the terminal area of San Luis Obispo Regional Airport. The terminal has had under-utilized pay-to-play wireless access for several years, and we recently entered into an agreement with them to supply free wireless to the passenger area. How to connect: When you are in the airport’s check-in, departure or baggage area, use the search feature or your computer’s wireless configurator to look for wireless networks. You should see ”flyslo” as a found network SSID, with no encryption. Simply have your computer connect to that, and you should be on-line.
The Airport’s free WiFi utilizes Innovative Concepts’ wireless backbone infrastructure on the KKJL-1400 facilities on South Street Hill to access the Internet. That site is also home to the webcams seen on the popular SLOweather.com local weather site.
