Did You Know?
“Free” email accounts
There are 2 basic kinds of “free” email accounts. First, there is the one you get from your ISP, like Charter or ATT. These are OK for basic email, but you are at the mercy of the ISP for spam filtering (which is often pretty poor), and you can’t take the address with you if you move or change ISPs.The second “free” email is from places like Yahoo or Hotmail. They are good for anonymous use, but some spam filters really don’t like them, and your emails get tagged with unwanted advertising.
As a thank-you to our customers, In-con is offering introductory email accounts, free for the first year, with a real address that you can take with you when you move or change ISPs. These are in our short, easy-to-remember SLO.US domain. They have 10 MB of storage, no advertising, and our superior spam filtering. After the first year, they are only $5.00/month or $50/year. More storage, forwarding, and auto-responders are also available. Give us a call and we’ll be happy to get you set up.
